Quercetin is the non-sugar-bound form of the polyphenolic flavonoid rutin. It is the major bioflavonoid in the human diet and is essential for good cellular function. Research supports Quercetin's ability to stabilise the membranes of neutrophils and thereby balance the production of histamine and inflammatory signalling molecules. It also exhibits powerful free radical quenching activity, particularly against superoxide anion, singlet oxygen and the hydroxyl radical. It inhibits the production of histamine that causes inflammation and sensitivities. It also inhibits the enzyme aldose reductase that is involved in diabetic complications. Quercetin improves cardiovascular health.

Recommended Use: Take one to three capsules daily or as directed.
