Sweet Almond Oil is not an essential oil but is rather a base or "carrier" oil that is used for the purpose of diluting an essential oil for use on the skin. It is a good choice for all skin types and is an excellent all-purpose oil because it is light, odorless and non-greasy.
Recommended Use: Sweet almond oil is the perfect base oil to use for diluting Essential Oils for use in skin care. One ounce of base oil equals 2 tablespoons or 1/8 cup.
- 1 ounce of base oil to 5-10 drops of Essential Oil for a face or body oil
- 1 ounce of base oil to 15-20 drops of Essential Oil for a massage oil
