The DivaCup is made from 100% hypoallergenic, latex-free, medical grade silicone-the same material that's used for everything from contact lenses to heart valves and joint replacements. It is super sanitary, comfortable, reliable and convenient. The DivaCup will hold one full ounce (30 ml), while the average menstrual flow is a total of 3-4 ounces (90-120 ml) for the entire cycle. Because the DivaCup is not absorbent, it does not disrupt the body's natural process of self-moisturizing and washing away dead cells and bacteria, unlike tampons.

Recommended Use: Depending on your flow, simply empty the cup 2-3 times per 24 hours, wash, and reinsert. Raised ridges on the outside bottom of the cup make removal easy, and measurements printed inside the cup (ounces and milliliters) allow you to monitor your flow.
