COLD-FX is a patented highly purified natural product obtained from roots of North American ginseng.

Recommended Use: To help prevent colds and the flu take 1 capsule 2 times daily (2 capsules total)

To help treat a cold or flu, take the following dose at the onset of symptoms:

Day 1. Take 3 Capsules, 3 times daily.

Day 2. Take 2 Capsules 3 times daily.

Day 3. Take 1 Capsule, 3 times daily

After day 3, continue use is recommended at 1 to 2 capsules daily, until you start to feel better.

For the best results, take COLD-fX daily to help maintain your immune system at an optimal level (it has not been shown to overstimulate your system). If you come down with a cold or flu, you may also take a higher dose to help your body fight off the viruses. Take COLD-fX at the first sign of symptoms or as early as possible to assist your immune system in killing the viruses before they do damage.

Contraindications: This product is indicated for healthy adults and children 12 years of age and older who are not taking any medications. Individuals with serious health conditions or taking other medications should consult a health care professional before taking COLD-fX. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

The safety of COLD-fX in individuals with liver or kidney disease, autoimmune disorders, or pregnant women has not been investigated and it is recommended to speak with a physician before taking COLD-fX. As COLD-fX is a derivative of North American ginseng, those with known allergies or sensitivities to ginseng should avoid consumption of COLD-fX.

High doses of some forms of ginseng which are high in ginsenosides have been shown to affect the metabolism and effect of blood thinners such as coumadin (warfarin). Although COLD-fX is composed of molecules (oligosaccharides and polysaccharides) which are not thought to cause drug interactions, and laboratory and clinical studies have indicated that the likelihood of a drug interaction with COLD-fX is greatly reduced, individuals taking coumadin are advised to avoid consumption of COLD-fX.

Ingredients: Each capsule contains 200 mg of dried extract, CVT-E002, which has been shown in laboratory and clinical studies to strengthen our immune system and has demonstrated efficacy and safety in the prevention and relief of cold and flu infections.
