Why “Live Active Culture” Probiotics? Some of nature's most revered foods are probiotic foods that are cultured with “friendly flora” like lactobacilli. Probiotic foods include yogurt, kefir, miso, wine and even sauerkraut. Science has learned that cultured foods are easy to digest, and the culturing process creates life-enhancing nutrients. Included in each serving of Berry Green are 15 different nutrient-dense organic vegetables, fruits, grains and herbs that have been cultured by 10 of nature's most researched friendly flora, then freeze dried to maintain the viability of the live active culture.
Why No Grass? In our humble opinion, green grasses like those included in many "greens" products are best suited for horses and cows and are not an optimal food for humans. After all, cows chew “cud” while humans eat berries. These grasses are very inexpensive compared to the freeze-dried and certified organic vegetable greens in Berry Green, but we think you will appreciate our care in selecting only the finest foods for you and your family.
